Manos Perrakis is a philosophy scholar, writer and translator.

He holds a PhD in Philosophy from Humboldt University of Berlin. 2016 he was Adjunct Lecturer at the Technical University of Berlin and afterwards Principal Investigator at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz. He has published extensively on the interface between aesthetics and practical philosophy mainly focused on music and literature.

Following the paradigm of philosophical practice (philosophy outside academia), he has been active as an advisor and educator for individuals and organizations.

He has published translations of German classics in Greek, two books of prose, poems and essays.

Born in Athens, he is currently based in Vienna.
