Manos Perrakis, born in Athens, is an academic researcher, writer and translator. He holds a PhD in Philosophy from Humboldt University, Berlin. His work in research and practice focuses on the interface between aesthetics and practical philosophy. He taught philosophy at the Technical University of Berlin and he was Lise-Meitner-Fellow of the Austrian Science Fund at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz, where he led the project Music as life-affirmation. The value of music in life-philosophy. He has been Research Associate at the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna. Member of the German society for philosophical practice (IGPP) and its professional association (BV-PP); cooperation in the international project The Philo-Practice Agora. He has published two books of prose, poems and translations of German classics in Greek.
