Manos Perrakis is a philosophy scholar, writer and translator.

He holds a PhD in Philosophy from Humboldt University of Berlin. 2016 he was Adjunct Lecturer at the Technical University of Berlin and afterwards Principal Investigator at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz. He has also cooperated with the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna. He works at the intersections of aesthetics and practical philosophy with a permanent focus on music and literature.

Following the paradigm of philosophical practice (philosophy outside academia), he has been active as an advisor and educator for individuals and organizations. He has also served as an expert for the European Research Executive Agency and the European Education and Culture Executive Agency.

In Greek, he has published translations of Austrian and German classics, two books of prose, poems and essays.

Born in Athens, he is currently based in Vienna.
