mp3Manos Perrakis studied German, Semiotics and Philosophy in Athens and Berlin, and holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy from Humboldt University. He mainly works on the interface between Aesthetics and Practical Philosophy, and has a longstanding focus on 19th century Philosophy of Music, Nietzsche, and Romanticism. After having taught Philosophy at the Technical University of Berlin, he is currently a Lise Meitner Research Fellow of the Austrian Science Fund at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz (KUG).
